In a Nutshell
This is a common argument against both BSL and discussing pitbull temperament: there is no such breed as "pitbull" or "pit bull". And therefore, so the logic goes, it makes no sense to talk about the danger posed by them.
Note: among one another, activists & owners call the dogs "pitbulls".
